ABS-CBN’s “Showtime” to be reformatted. It will replace Happy Yipee Yehey’s weekday timeslot effective February 4, 2012.

Attempting to rival Eat Bulaga is an interesting idea. BUT relaunching with a format of “STRONG-SIMILARITIES-AND-OBVIOUS-IMITATION” of Eat Bulaga’s “Juan For All, All For One” is not a good sign. I predict Showtime’s downfall. Give it a year or two. Nothing can put down Eat Bulaga ..or Vic Sotto for that matter.
